WHY THE SCORES ARE REAL

When you take off, the server hands out a fresh random seed. The seed decides every wave, every drop and every bullet pattern, and it works for one run only.
Your browser records only which buttons you held on each of the 60 frames per second. When the run ends, it sends that recording, not a score.
The server plays your whole run again with the same seed and the same game code, frame by frame, and writes down whatever score comes out. Typing a big number into the page does nothing.
A run of 10 minutes must have taken at least 9 minutes of real time to submit, so a run can not be played at 10x speed.
What this does NOT stop: a bot or a tool-assisted run that plays the real game with superhuman inputs. The team looks at winning runs before paying and declines obvious bots, with the reason written next to it.
